Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains how Anti Aging Care collects, uses, and safeguards your information.

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This policy covers both the Anti Aging Care website and the Cera: Skin Age & Routine mobile app. The section immediately below explains how the Cera app handles your photos and face data; the remaining sections cover our website and general practices.

Cera App — Photos, Face Data & AI Analysis

The Cera app estimates visible skin characteristics (your “skin age” and cosmetic concern scores) from a selfie you take or choose. We want to be completely clear about how this works.

What face data we collect

When you choose to run a scan, we process the selfie photo you provide together with the quiz answers you entered (such as your age, skin type, and skincare concerns). We use the photo only to estimate cosmetic skin characteristics. We do not create a faceprint or facial-recognition template, and we do not use the photo to identify you.

How we collect it

You provide the photo directly, either by taking a selfie with your camera or selecting an existing image from your photo library. Nothing is captured in the background. Before your first scan, the app shows a consent screen that explains what will be shared and with whom, and your photo is only ever transmitted after you tap “Agree.”

Who we share it with

To generate your analysis, your selfie and quiz answers are sent over an encrypted connection to OpenAI, L.L.C., a third-party AI provider based in the United States, which processes the image and returns the skin estimate. OpenAI processes the data to provide this result and, under its API data-usage policy, does notuse data submitted through its API to train its models. OpenAI's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy and data processing terms, which provide protections comparable to those described here. We do not share your photo or face data with any other third party, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Cera does not retain your photo after analysis. The image is held only transiently in memory to generate your result and is then discarded; it is not saved to our servers. The only information retained is the derived result (your estimated skin age and concern scores) and your routine progress, which are stored locally on your device. OpenAI may retain API inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring in accordance with its data policy, after which they are deleted.

Your consent and choices

Sharing your photo with our AI provider is entirely optional and only happens after your explicit consent. You can decline at the consent screen, and you can delete all of your on-device data at any time using “Start over” in the app's Profile tab. Questions about face data? Email support@antiagingcare.org.
